New Grower! Advice Needed!

New to growing....wanted to seek advice from some pro's and experts, because everyone has to start somewhere. Wanted to start off with picking the right seeds...need a strain that has high THC levels (potent as hell) but relatively easy to grow, and only grows to a height of 3 feet at the end of flowering. I have talked to some people who have threw out the names Papaya, Bubblegum and Aurora Indica, but i cant seem to find information on how high they exactly grow. Just want an easy to grow, potent indoor seed that isnt to high. My friend tried lowryder, which he said was easy to grow, but he said it wasnt potent at all and a waste of time growing because he was unhappy with the results. Somebody offer some advice and help me out! I have a nice set up in my college dorm room in a hidden closet with some nice fluerocent bulbs to give it light cycles. Just need to pick the right seeds!!!

dude no matter what you grow in your COLLEGE DORM ROOM is going to reek so bad you are going to get kicked out and arrested...ask Hazyeyes about getting busted in his dorm and the 8k in fines he is paying and the paper thats on his head....no no no no to many people in dorms go find some sunny spot down by the river in a van.....for an outdoor grow your not gonna pull that off in the dorm seriously where you going to vent that shit??

yeah thats true....it's not really a dorm. its an apartment suite off campus, so they don't check on my shit, and my roomate says its fine. a lot of the forums ive read say that a lot of the strains like bubbleicious or citral won't give an odor, and if it does, will be a good one, and you won't even notice it. in my apartment, we have a balcony the weather is pretty well, so we will vent out the whole apartment and keep them growing. we just want to keep them small, and grow a couple to pick up a couple of ounces. you have any advice on some good strains though that are really short in height and pretty potent?

Personaly I think you should get yourself some lowryder 2, they have had much much better results them regular lowryder, they take the guess work out of growing and its a great fisrt time grow plant. I did them my first time with great success ( out of 11 females, I finished with over 4 ounces dried, and it was very good smoke). I got them from Dr. Chronic.com and they cost about 66.00 and 10 for shipping. buy the 10 pack. You can grow them with very well, with nothing but a few Compact flouresent bulbs, which I used (the kind you use to save energy instead of regular lights in lamps) Get a couple of Daylight spectrum and a couple of warm spectrum. They cost like 5 bucks each, and they screw into any lamp or work light. I used the work light with the screw on reflector. you can get them at any hardware store or pet store. They cost about 8 dollars each. You can also make your own, get an adapter at the Hardware store that is used to changa plug outlet into a lamp outlet, you can them get about 5 of them and put them onto a surge protecter strip and have yourself a string of lights. You really should try the lowryder 2. I picked up some AK47's and are growing them now. Althought I purchased a 400watt MH / HPS, I was originaly going to use floresents. Well good luck. P.S. Dr. chronic also sells a seed called Low Life, they are auto flowering like the lowryers and yeild well. They are great strains AK47, Kush, ect. And there cheap. check em out, and good luck...

thanks for the advice. I will definitely get both of them. should i just avoid the bubblicious then? Its unfortunate because I have heard such great things about them? when you grew your lowryder 2, did you get 4 ounces out of each plant or total? I have a couple of friends who grow Hindu Kush and they said its absolutely wicked, and if your saying this stuff is a strain of that, I will def check it out. I am starting to grow because the bud around my college is dirt, but because its hard to get around me, they charge like 400 and its garbage. I want some ish that is going to floor me. They got about 14 to 16 inches. I wish I could have got 4 oz out of each plant. It was total. for using flouesents, it's not to bad. It only took like 2 months for the entire grow from seed to harvest. I think If I had let them go longer, I would have got a fair amount more. I was a bit premature I think. If you want to do the bubblicious, I say go for it. You can trim them to keep them the size you want. Also, when plants that are not Autoflowering like the LR2's, you can start budding them when they reach the hight you want, by swiching your lights on for 12 hours and off for 12 hours per day. After a week or so of this, they will start budding, and shouldnt get to much taller. The great thing about the LR2's is that, you just keep the lights on 20 hours a day and off four for the whole time. Some people keep them on 24hrs a day. I know what your saying about paying to much for bad smoke, who want to do that. Just remember, you will definatly get kicked out of school if you get caught, even if your living off campus. Be smart, don't tell anyone who doesn't need to know. you would be surpised how quick people spread your name around when alcohol and drugs are around. Once an RA at your school gets wind of it, You can be sure the police will be the next to know. Just be safe. It aint worth ruinin your life over. But that being said, Good luck.
