New Grower, Just Harvested... Curing??

sup peeps. Just got done drying out some stalks.. They were hanging for just over a week. I trimmed the buds and put them in a mason jar and have been opening it a few times a day for the past 2 days to get fresh air in there. The buds smell like it was just harvested yesterday.. Is that normal? They were supposed to be Kush seeds and the bud looks pretty good but it doesn't smell special... it smells like fresh cut bud... Did i do something wrong?
