Getting a little stretchy .... up pot it , water less , bury stem .

When you up pot , add in perlite to mix when you transplant.

Do have a grow space or are you doing a window sill kind of grow. ?

image.jpg This is where I’ve been doing my growing again I’m new to this and it’s just what I’ve kinda picked and pulled from various places..when you say up pot you mean bigger pot right? Also and this may sound stupid but do I add a little more soil to it?

Ya if thats incandesant or shite that be your problem.

Re potting and burying stems is not somthing i advise, re start with the right stuff be better :-)

Hey ... no worries ... we all started somewhere .

1. Shitcan THAT BULB
2. At least get a spiral cfl in there ... Lowe’s , Home Depot , etc.
3. Get a splitter ...
Something like this....

4. Perlite ( enhances drainage / aeration to soil )
5. Watch your watering
6. Know that you will outgrow that space quickly
7. Bury stem up to just below bottom leaf.

I’m sure others will chime in to help.

Fact :

If you bury stem ( even if you covered those cotyledon leaf ) it allow more surface area from the stem ( now buried ) to root .

Those bottom leaves only function is to provide the beginning Nutes to the plant as it germed out.

As far as lighting go for what your pocketbook dictates .... many want you to jump full in without getting the basics covered. I mentioned the splitter as a reasonable way to get your feet wet , THEN after some success you can move up from that.

Look for a tent or other type grow space .... you need a space that will move air better ...
Heat rises and it looks like that box has no way to extract it.

Okay just got some of that new bulbs perlite & bigger pot, I’ll try that out. Thank you guys, seriously. I’ll put up a picture and update y’all later. Once again thank you, I’m sure I’ll be back with more questions lol
