So I've caught some flak for not posting current grow pics.

We'll start with the 1st week in the Hydrotron and update from here.

Keeping within the limits of the law I can only start these 5.

After taking clones two weeks ago this is the stage they are at.

Since we're talking air, I've never actually sat down to do the science of what I actually need vs. what I have as far as capacity. I see post after post on the intricate details of science relating to watts and light, ppms and nutes, degrees and air temp/water temp, etc. I've seen just a few posts on the amount of dissolved oxygen in water, but nothing specific. It just seems most people "eyeball" what they think should do the trick and then spend as much money as they are comfortable with spending to implement a "subjective" solution...some people are practically willing to hook up jet boat impeller with a 454 Chevy to give that tiny clone in a 2 gallon bucket all the air it would ever need!

Unfortunately air stones don't come with labels specifying the amount of DO they will introduce into a solution. So my set up is 3 General Hydroponics Dual-Diaphragm 4 ports running twelve 2-gallon tanks each with a single gray medium barrel air stone. This is my "eyeball" solution. It would be nice to know where this setup exists on the capacity scale? How much DO is being introduced and how much am I over/under capacity based on the needs of the plants?

Sorry to ramble. But it's a question I keep mulling over in my mind and was wondering what your thinking and your requirements were when designing your setup in regards to air and any science you used?

The way of the cooler grow is the only way I grow....
