Hey all,
Im new here but not a newbie when it comes to cultivation. Just had a few design questions.
So i'm in the process of designing another flower room. My space is 13x12x7.
I really am trying to maximize my space and use it as efficiently as possible.
I also plan on growing sea of green.
Questions-
Lighting- What would be the most effective way to light one of these areas? In terms of cost and potential yield.
i have been thinking of using 4 Hydrofarm Raptor reflectors with 1000w hps bulbs.
I have not heard about the exact coverage of these reflectors but know they are freaking huge.
I'm concerned with getting complete coverage, maximum lumens, and doing so with as few light systems as possible.
Any suggestions??
FLOWER Bulb choice-
Anyone have any experience with a Hortilux dual arc 1000w bulb? These bulbs are mega expensive (retail $260) and have both MH/HPs in them, 400w MH/ 600w HPS.
Anyone try these yet?
The regular 1000w Hortilux Super HPS bulb is less than half that cost and has more intense red's in the bulb's spectrum. Where as the DUAL spec bulb has more consistent light levels throughout.
Which bulbs to go with??
Any ideas and or advise is much appreciated. Thanks!
