Would 1/2 an eigth be enough to trip with some medium quality shrooms?

My first shroom trip was 1.7 grams, it was fantastic. I didn't eat the whole day, which was a really good idea. They didn't take that long to hit me, about 15 or 20 minutes. I had visuals right away, along with a good body high and some color effects. It was pretty intense for the first 1hr and 45 mins for me, after that I mellowed out and tripped in my friend's room for 2 hours just looking at his decoravite walls and whatnot.

should be good...nothing to intense though...a good place to start. Or you could just do balls to the wall and do the whole thing...thats the way to go in my opinion...if your gonna do it do it right! but do what your comfortable with would hate for someone to have a bad trip

That's around the dose most people start at.
Work your way up. You can always eat more, but once they're down the hatch, they're down the hatch. Though it's likely a good idea to start low your first time around.
If you want to get more out of them, and can stand the taste, keep them under your tongue for a bit before eating them. Sublingual absorption, my friend. If you can't stomach the taste at all, a little tiny bit of peanut butter goes a long way. Empty stomach, too. Nausea is common.

You can even get the basic of all basic effects by eating .5 of a gram if you want to avoid having a bad trip. That's how I work other people into it because a half eighth to an eighth of mushrooms can be extremely overwhelming sometimes. I had tripped 20+ times with various doses up until I got the dankest of all dank mushrooms and ate 1.5 only to flip a shit on myself. I didn't touch them again for years after that. Just be careful man and PREPARE YOUR ENVIRONMENT YOU WILL BE TRIPPING IN. Watch where and who you will be tripping around. GL!

A half gram of mushrooms in my experience was always an unpleasant or uncomfortable experience. Of course, everyone's mileage varies. It doesn't really have any discernible entheogenic effect that I noticed... Just a mild body buzz that and mild paranoia, neither of which I personally found particularly pleasant.
Then again, after I ate a quarter of "the dankest of all dank" shrooms, everything else just sort of paled in comparison. One of the most spiritual, best, strangest, and most embarrassing experiences of my life.

Yes, indeed, on both counts.
I never met him personally, but he seems like an outstanding guy as well as an amazing artist. If his kids are any indication, he's a centered guy.
