New Stealth Wardrobe

After reading a ton on Rollitup this is what I have come up with. A cheap-ass particle board Sauder wardrobe from Menards. I replaced the cardboard back with 1/4" plywood. I removed the shelves and interior walls and strengthened the remaining shelf. Installed two Panasonic Whisper-Quiet fans (290 cfm & 240 cfm), Sun System 2 air-cooled hood with a Lumatek digital ballast and a carbon filter. Some darkroom louvers and smoke detectors, etc. My only concern is the proximity of the ballast to the carbon filter. I germed a total of 12 Nirvana Early Special, California Orange Bud, and Bubbleicious last week and 11 have sprouted. A couple look kinda mongoloid though so they may be culled before long. As long as I get through sexing with 3-4 strong plants, I'll be happy. Open to all suggestions and comments. Thanks for looking. ImageShack - Hosting :: cabnet12al1.jpg

There's treachery afoot
I have the same, cheap, Sauder wardrobe from Menards.....works like a charm.
I keep my ballast outside and on top of the cabinet to keep the heat down.

Maybe I'll do that. We'll see how hot she gets. Did you leave any areas in for mothers or clones or did you take everything out too?

I took the shelf you have towards the top and moved it to about 10 inches above the base to make a storage area for my gardening implements, scope, nutes and such. I keep my momma and clones in another box I built out of an old wooden trunk.

How much did that all cost you?
As a grand total for everything, including seeds, nutes, soil and down to the duct tape and power saw, etc I'm right around $1000. An oz of the best ganja (pretty damn good, but not great) I can find here runs around $500 so I hope to come out ahead before long.
