HigH people! I just purchased a digigro coco co2 monitor and a digigro regularator system off of eBay. I paid $350 for the setup. I still need to purchase a co2 tank still. Here are a few pics of what I'm working with.

My cabinet measures 5'Hx3'Wx2'D. I was thinking of at least a 10lb tank probably a 20lb tank. Any suggestions on what size I should pick up? Also is there some tubing I need to buy? Anything special? Basically I need any info or tips I can get to help get my co2 system up and running. Thanks and I'll hook ya up with a + rep for taking the time to help a rookie make his setup even better!

congrats on the set up. very nice. does your controller disabe the co2 when proper ppms r reached? the only thing id say is think about an enviorment controller with a co2 port. i tried to run co2 without one and was always scrambaling around making sure every thing was right. so i had to buy one. but iam using a burner so heat was problom. u my friend r going to see great things at a excellerated pace. have a blast. good work.

Right on! Thanks for taking the time. Apparently with this monitor it controls the ppm's and keeps them within 1200-1500. Thanks for the heads up on the environmental controller! I'll look into it and see if I need one. Hope they aren't to spendy! Thanks again bro! I'm really looking forward to seeing what the co2 brings to the table!

Good job dude...U r going to love enhancing with CO2 & your girl's r going to kiss & Hug you! I have a burner in one larger flowering room & want to purchase one like u got for the smaller flowering area I got. Great advice above from Mongo...controllers r very helpful. Cool! I'm itching to get a tank! At least the big money part is outta the way! My girls better love it lol they are all I think about! I'm layed up from surgery so I got lots of time to think of em! Thanks for stopping by!

get a tank from your local welding supply store, tell them its for a beer fridge. tanks are about 2' tall, forget the poundage.
you will need to run a tube (i think its 1/4" OD) you can use drip hose. make sure the outlet is above the plants and have a small fan circulating the air around. other than that you are good to go.

Thanks for the info! Was thinking of calling a weld shop. Looks like a need the tank and some tubing and I'm good to go! Thanks for the help!

I have a 20 lb tank it lasts about 2 weeks in my 10x7x8, I don't have a ppm meter yet but I have an environmental controller that I can plug a ppm meter into when I get it.

Does your reg come with a section of hose on it? Either way you will need to extend it to drape it above the plants so co2 falls on them. Never let the co2 dirextly spray on them tho. Poke little needle holes in the hose so you get even distribution down the length of the hose.

Also gonna wanna raise your temps to aboit 80-84 to get maximum use of the co2.

Yeah 20 lb tanks rock, 50s last longer but are a pain to carry

My bad I guess I Already have the tubing.

it was with the regulator. 20' of tubing. The last wood, thanks for your help!

I have the exact same unit. I purchased my first one 1.5 years ago when I was setting up a hot water heater co2 system. Not knowing what i was doing, I quickly fried the units relay. i called for tech support and was given a brand new unit with an external relay at no charge. I have now bought 2 of their units as a result of this experience.

They completely walked me through the setup of the burner and my system and have given me lots of good advice as my transition to sealed wasn't what I would call gracefull, My diy system was total disaster. So I would recommend contacting them if you have any questions, they have proven to be a valuable asset in my endeavors.

I have since gone to a bottle system with their regulator as well

I have no interest, I am just a satisfied customer.
