New to Cooking with cannabis. (ISO HASH)

SWIM is new to cooking with mary.
They say they have made a few things like cookies and brownies with butter, only cause the butter and oil was kicked down.

SWIM is about to make a bunch of ISOhash and they would like to know what are the preperations, does it have to be made into butter to be cooked into medibles
Heat in which it should be cooked at(understands that it depends on what they are cooking) ETC...
SWIM is looking for the general overlook of the subject.
Any information, helpful advice, or hints would be helpful.

SWIM is also very interested in making ganja honey. So if anyone has any specific information on this it would be wonderous.
