New to growing...Advice appreciated

I have yet to buy seed but I have considered a number of possibilities.
I will be planting outdoor with plenty of sun, its hot almost all year round (no big coldsnaps).
Regular soil but I will condition as needed.
I considered Sensi's outdoor mix from planet skunk but heard Reuderalis tastes and grows like failure.
Early girl and skunk included also any Thoughts?
I would like to start with a seed that is tough easy to grow, doesnt turn into a tree, moderate yield etc.
I will be buying from skunk unless you convince me otherwise.

Ruderalis is used in breeding to give plants growth qualities other than potency. The average plant with Ruderalis genes won't be as strong as a plant without them but will exhibit different growth characteristics. I've tried half a dozen retailers but not Planet Skunk. I hope it works well for you.

As I was just saying in another thread:

"Before choosing a strain, you should consider what type of high you're looking for. Do you want a couchlock stone, a feel-good sativa buzz, a trippy indica or some mix of them? Imho finding a strain with a your favorite high is well worth most concessions like lower yield or longer flowering time. The average sativa does better outdoor than indoor so since you'll be growing outdoor, I'd reccomend something in the sativa line."

Honestly, growing outdoor lets you grow big plants that would be much more difficult inside. Since you can grow them with no troubles, I'd suggest something close to orginal Haze.

Thanks for your input mate, I was thinking that also.
It will be a guerrila styled grow but its extremely subtle and no chance of being found.
I was thinking more sativa for the strength and ability of hot temps that we have.
Unfortunately most genes from sensi's outdoor mix is indica.
To be honest I have never known the origin of the dirt weed me and mates used to have and thus no idea about different taste, high etc, in saying that Im after a sativa mind buzz rather than an indica body buzz.
Maybe its worth trying a variety of outdoor pick and mix seeds.
