Hard to do without any info on what you have going on. From the pic, it appears you need exhaust and need to ponder odor control. I don't recommend going straight into the large pots.

I just put an exhaust fan and odor isnt really a problem. And i have my baby girls in 3 gallon pots under a 600w dimmable mh light.

Even during veg depending on the strain plants will stretch. I hope you have the flowering cab or tent ready. Big pots are meant for plants that already have a large root structure. Good luck hope it works out for you

Alright. Well actually im working in my closet now. I have 3 baby og kush plants.(feminised) under a 600w mh. Their in 3 gallon nursery pots. Im on a veeery low budget and dont have a flowering tent or cab. I was thinking about using general organics "Go Box" nutrients when they get bigger. Im a open book with growing so any and all advise woupd be great.

In some cases it means you will have to water more because all that dirt absorbs the water very quickly and could transport it away from the roots. Just keep an eye on it. As long as you transplant correctly very little shock is realized by the plant. So you said your in your closet now. I would just make sure that light leaks won't be an issue, not that your light is leaking out but that an external light source could find its way through a gap in the bottom of the door or otherwise(been there). Kudos on the 600mh though. Don't have any experience with those nutes,

Perfect. For indoor grows like that I love scrog growing, you can train your plants to fill in the whole area. If your not familiar with that style of growing youtube has some great videos. What type of light will you be flowering with?

I know from personal experience that I can get my northern lights canopy to fill in a space that's 2'x2' very easily, if I trained it a little more and let it veg a little longer I could get the canopy to fill in an area of 2'x3' which is a 3rd of your area. So I am confident that getting your three plants to fill in a good portion of your closet is possible. Just look into it

I didnt wanna take the risk of transplanting them and shocking them so i started with these. Bad idea?
The reason I like to start small and go up as the roots fill, is because you end up with a much more compact root cluster and usually the bigger and more compact the root cluster, the nicer the fill is up top. I am NO pro but this is my opinion. Start with cubes, then your veg pot (if sog your flower pot), and then into your flower pot.
