New to normal grows - how many to keep?

Hello, this if my first time posting on here, but I've been an avid non-member/reader for almost 2 years. This site has helped me learn 12/12 from seed and I've produced good quality smoke every time I've grown -- with struggles along the way!

This is my first non-12/12 from seed grow. So I need some help determining what's a good plan of action for flowering.

Anyway, I have a new setup going and have 8 seedlings going on week 2 from sprout. My 'plan' is to weed out 6 of these and transplant the remaining 2 into their own 3 gallon containers -- probably 2-3 weeks from now.

Here's my setup (keep in mind, none of my setup is 'ideal' in the professional growing world):
- Fox Farms ocean forest (for sprouting, veg, and flowering)
- Fox farms Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom (not using Big Bloom or Grow Big until 1 week into real veg, since FFOF is so hot on the plants already)
- solo cups for seedlings/early veg
- 3 gallon containers for vegging/flowering
- 5 lights:
* 2, 300W CFL equiv (~68W CFL)
* 3, 100W CFL equiv (~23W CFL)
- Blue spectrum for veg phase
- Red spectrum for flowering (same wattage as listed above, different bulb types)

So my question to you guys is: when I get to my 2 vegged plants, if both are female, should I keep both or throw one away? The reason I ask is because I'm only using a total of ~205W in flowering (total wattage pull from the CFLs). I've been successful with as little as 60W of CFL with 3 micro plants (~21g of smoke form harvest). So 205W should be 'ok' for 1 plant... but probably not 2?

I'm not sure how big I want to get the plants. I'm doing LST (bending/tie down) method until they're bushy and ~1.5 - 2 feet tall and then I'll switch to 12/12.

Additional info:
- I'm not opposed to using an HPS for flowering if I can use 1 and it'll keep a similar temp.
- I use no fans. Like I said, none of this is ideal; however, I don't have the proper materials to run anymore than 5 things on a timer. I won't acquire more outlet space, but could swap small lights for a fan if I ran an HPS.
- I have no ventilation in this closet. Temperatures never exceed 80 degrees. This is why I like the CFLs, but they're not good for flowering : /

Any advice is appreciated!

I'd keep both.
CFL's - minimum 100W (real) for 1 plant and at least an additional 50W for every extra plant, so your 205W of CFL's will suffice. I highly recommend a mixed spectrum of light at a 3:1 ratio of blue to red for veg, and the other way around for flower.

No ventillation in a closet grow? Sorry, no HID for you.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I'll stick to the CFLs then and keep both plants if they're both females!
