New to the grow

Sup :bigjoint:

I'm looking at moving to Colorado soon to see if I have a green thumb. I'd love to grow the finest hydroponic and make a shitload of money the legal way, but even if it winds up as just another adventure it'll probably be a hell of a ride at any rate.

Does anyone have any advice for someone new to growing? I don't even want to start with soil, it seems like a waste of time and I've always loved some amazing hydro. I bought two books to start off my quest for the greatest hydro ever. The first one I read was pretty short and didn't give me a lot of info. Hydroponics: A Complete DIY Guide. The second book; An Uncomplicated Guide to Growing the World's Finest Cannabis, has been worth every penny. I've been reading it voraciously since yesterday and I'm only 30% finished.

From what I've gathered it boils down to learning the processes involved and never cutting corners. I'm already planning my first op, but I'm going to read this book twice and try and find some other good books on it while I prepare for the move.

Are there any other self-taught hydro growers out there? Or anyone that can suggest some good reading?

Producing good meds takes a while.. Plus you being a new grower means you're way behind the curve.. Catching up and passing all the existing growers is gonna be tough... The market is flooded out there but good luck...... Hope you have a fat nest to live off of for a while!
