Hi this is for a pal of mine he was just wondering he is converting his wardrobe into a growdrobe it is 4ft wide 6ft high and 2ft deep he said he didn't want hps lights in for heat factors so he was wanting CFL in there so he bought a t5 light 2ft 100 watts on it he thinks it will be enough I said you should add more then that was wondering for some info well appreciated.

for top quality nugs hes going to want 400w of t5 like the 4ft 8 tube bulb systems @50wpsf is ideal for bud

might be ok for veg though but still a bit low for that$T2eC16V,!)8E9s4l7,4uBQKoKqn,Pg~~60_35.JPG

yes in theory but there hard to use (they seem to burn my plants) i would personally use t5's as there better light and cooler plus the length would suit the room or drop a 400w hps in with a nice air cooled hood (not cool tube)

no , but go for shorter strains to make up for the lack of light penetration from flurs

How many would you say at once on the go also was down at local hydro shop and he was telling me about some soil that will supply the plants with enough nutes for the whole grow didn't think this was possible was wanting some heads up on this first
Thanks agito

with cfl you dont wanna go for the big ones you want smaller ones so you can spread them around the plant

no really the rule is 100 watts per plant min
thats nonsense
ive grown plants over 1sqm wide indoors so is 100w per sqm meter good enough. could 1 100w cfl be enough for this plant?

Also ive grown shed loads of strain including autos and there are some very potent autos out there some tested up to 19% thc honestly are you just making stuff up

please note me equations are from ed's book,. auto numbers would depend on variety id be tempted to do 8 small plants in a SOG and dwarf them in smaller pots. most soils wont have enough nute in them to last a full grow super soil aside

depending on what your talking about when you say 100 watts if its 100 watts equiv then no that only like 23 watts you want the actual you would want about 5 of the 23 watters to make 100 actual watts and thats the min i would never do any less then 150 watts per plant also if growing with cfl your not gonna let it get that big so i dont see what your trying to say go read some more i guess your a joke man

That is 8 square feet of floor space. I run a 600 watt hps in 9 square feet of floor space.
I would put two 250 watt hps in there.
