Hello all! I am new to the forum but good friends with Mary Jane :weed: I recently started growing herbs (for cooking, hehe - basil, chives, parsley) indoors, and to my surprise, didn't kill them all within a week, so I'm getting ambitious and wanted to grow my own personal stash. I don't have much room... the area is about 71" (180cm) tall, 24" (61cm) wide, and 12-15" (30-40cm) deep. I might divide the space for clones, the wardrobe is tall...

Firstly, I was wondering if my lighting will be OK? I'm planning to put in (6) 24W CFL's (should equate to 600 Watts), I have lots of 6500K and 3000K bulbs available.

Secondly, after my seedlings sprout, what dirt should I put them in? I heard Fox Farm is a good organic soil? I have Miracle Gro Organic Potting Soil left over from replanting my herbs, is that good or should I be looking for something better? I want my stuff to be as clean as possible.

As for nutes, I have Blue Mountain Organics Brand Super Plant Tonic, Worm Castings, Chicken Manure, and Bat Guano. What ratio should I be mixing these ingedients into the soil? Do I need to add anything (nutirition-wise) at a later time?

For my space, how many plants can comfortably grow in there? I got a PH soil tester (stick it in the dirt), I ordered fans for intake and exhaust, I have mylar, I have the thermometer/hygromter... am I missing anything? Let me know, thanks!
