Newbie Growing In Pc Grow Box

hey wats up roll it up form. just last week i was buying weed and got blazed up with the homies,but anyway this dude gave me free seeds. i didnt know wat 2 do with them, so i decied i was gonna grow again.
I grew weed last time wen i was 14. my plant didnt even have a chance to get a leaf. so this time im doing this the right way.

Im using my closet and a old pc case as a grow box.i got a perfect light and reflection.

I also got a timer for the light so i dont need to switch one n off. It looks done to me but im gonna get n fan with a filter.

Ill keep u posted n fill free to give me advice n tips. PEACE :bigjoint:

I'd move the light to the very top of the unit as your plants are going to get tall fast. Also, make sure you switch to 12/12 lighting when the plant is approx 1/2 the height of your light. During the flowering stage, expect to see about 100% height increase.

Alternatively, and ALOT more effectively you may want to look into LSTing your plants. This will maximize what little space you have to use. GOOD LUCK

if you use a shelf to keep your plants close enought to the kight then you can use it for LST or scrogging when its getting close to your lights.

Make sure you have enough fans and watch your temps they can get hot fast in a PC case due to the tight quarters..

Thats not one of mine so i don't know measurements. you look like your is plenty big enough for at least two plants.

I use 16 ounce party cups with drainage holes to grow mine. I have 6 23Watt cfls in mine. I get about an ounce a pop.

I feel like a dunce for saying to move the light to the top of the unit WITHOUT specifying that you should keep the light as CLOSE as possible to the light source using a shelf of some sort or something. I had my plants in a dresser for a while using a couple 100 watt CFLs. They get a nice minty green colour to them IMO. GOOD LUCK. Will you be updating?

Hey wats up just got home from work n wanted to post up some ne pics.

Today i just gutted everything else because i wanted to inslate the pc box. So i went the cheap route but its not done yet. I got a couple black trash can can wraped two on the outside and one in the inside.

well im not done yet, my next step is to wrap tape or duct tape to shut it seal.
well im out yall ill repost when i have the chance.

P/S: can anyone help me finding good female seeds online that are at a low price and have a low grow height

lowryder #2 is ideal for a PC grow. Whats with the black bags they are gonna eat the light on the inside. Use one of those window car shades from walmart that are shiny on one side. Get two and cut them to fit. or cheaper than that you can use an emergency blanket from walmart

I would DEFINITELY do what shadowgrower and palehawaiian suggested. get a shelf and LST your plants. You won't be disappointed.

I have a car reflecter im just using the the black bags for insulation its not done yet

so the black bag is where your pc case is? ok im really high or really lost? whats the bag for? not stealth not reflection not even good for keep in the heat..someone please help me lol...i havent smoked today yet im really confused lol

What are you insulating for? You are gonna battle heat in such a small space. Plus the bag if it covers your fans are gonna kill your airflow. Have you measured temps with your lights on and the box sealed? Leave the lights and fans on with no plant in it all day for at least 12-16 hours and see what your temps are. That will give you a solid base to start from and you will know what to expect.

That or you could save 200 dollars and buy one of mine and throw your seeds in...hint hint

This place is nice cause you can buy one single seed or like 500 if you want. I suggest the lowryder#2 it does excellent in the smaller cases and has a good high. Plus it will flower under 24 hour light so you don't even need a timer.

Well your at it get a couple more of the auto flower strains. Here is the link to the ones i recommend

Beyond that you can get foil tape at walmart it works great to seal your holes and is black on the sticky side so it will not look like anything from the outside and shiny so it reflects light on the inside.

Start a journal when you get your seeds i'm interested to see how you do.

I see now alot of guys are wondering y i hav the trashbags.
1)the trashbags are on the outside guys
2)i soaked the trashbag in some smell solvent it only block the odor form going out side.

3) i got a reflecter insde the box

Have you heard of ona gel? Also you can make a pretty good carbon filter for a few bucks out of stuff from walmart. I can find the DIY writeup if you like
