Heya guys n gals. Hope all is well!!

New here obviously and will be looking on some advice later down the line. Just waiting on my "gear" to turn up. I'll be growing one or two different seeds and will probably have to upgrade my grow tent when and as and if plants get too big.
Have my pH water treatment and nutes ready.

One thing I wanted to know, are filters nessesary?

Welcome to RIU. If you don’t care about stench at the exhaust then not really. I would suggest one on intake especially if taking air from some where like outside or a nasty basement etc to prevent things like mold spores from reaching tent/room

Bam is right. I also "filter" my intakes at the minimum with pantyhose. If you use the vents on the tent, those need more filtration than they come with-hair will suck in through them otherwise.

Thanks for replies. What's the be filter to get for intake? I'll have a nose around this eve. Obviously wanting to get everything first before I start.
