*Newbie Notice* 90w CFL in the 2700K range @ Lowes

I just wanted to post some pictures of a nice sized CFL bulb I found @ Lowes while doing some garden shopping.

I figured it would be a good thing to share here in the CFL forum.

The bulb is 65w (300w equivalent), in the 2700K range and costs about $17.

Two of those would be plenty to flower two small plants. And cheap too.

Yeah, if you don't have the room for multiple small lights, or enjoy not having the clutter, the big ones work really well. My buddy uses a gigantic 105w (not equiv) CFL for top-lighting, and six 26w CFL's for side-lighting. Seems to be doing him well.

I'm definitely keeping those in mind for a later grow setup.

i don't meant to hate on lowes, but they have 68 watters at home depot, which are just slightly bigger, and they are only $14.99. Not a huge deal but ppl are trying to cut back these days, just thought someone might find that info useful. I am using 3 of the 68 watters, very bright for my micro grow. got 2 zips off 4 mini plants.

I am using one of the 68watt/2700K $16 bulbs along with 6 of the 27watt/6500K @2 for $10 bulbs in my grow. Bought them all at the home depot. So far seems to be working well, hasn't been quite a full week yet and the plants are growing a lot.
I haven't looked into linking my thread yet but I have a thread in this section of the forum if you want to check it out.
I want to get a humidifier but other than that I like the setup I put together so far.

Oh yeah. Mine were clones, not from seed.

On a side note I saw 4 packs of the 27watt 2700K CFLs at Target yesterday for $10. Regular price so I'll wait till I'm ready to start flowering and then replace my 6500k ones with those.
