Newbie!! Pics inside let me know your thoughts!!!

Hey guys this is my first time growing, i got a 4 plant hydroponic
I got 2 plants in the hydroponic and 1 plant in the dirt, a couple things i noticed was the plant in the dirt is alot darker green then the ones in the hydroponic, is there a reason?

SET UP:

4 plant hydroponic
400 watt light
Fan to circulate air
I got 20-14-13 nutrients but i really havent been feeding the plants that much i put very little in the water

Let me know your thoughts on what to do, ive noticed that a couple of the new leaves have shrived up or something.

Also how long before you can tell if your plant is male or female?

I can only view one photo, but if i was a plant, i wouldnt like to live there. There will be all types of insects running around there, you need to have the area totally clean from bugs. Paint the room white/mylar/panda film. I see that a lot of your light is wasted on the ceiling, put a reflector on the light.

I think preflowers differ depending on strain and whatnot, but mine showed after a month.

you need to get that room more stuited for a plant
get some dry wall up or paint the walls white
maybe get a reflector on that light

I agree here, you are headed in the right direction, but you definitely should clean that room up. Remember, what you do to your plants, they are going to do to you...dirty room means dirty smoke...that is a great room to grow in, just needs some cleaning and paint...my 2 cents anyways

I agree with getting that room in order.

Your plants won't show sex until a week or two into flowering (12/12 light)
