Newbie questions re: HLG 260W QB V1

Finally making some real traction towards my first grow. I assembled my 260W QB V1 from HLG last weekend without issues. Almost blinded myself. Had to sort some logistical issues out but have the thing in my tent now and am gauging baseline temps to figure out how I want to vent in order to maintain good temps.

I have a few (dumb) questions that I just can't seem to find a good answer to. For others with the kit...

1. Does your driver get hot? Heatsink as well. I can touch it, but not for long. I see many talking about pointing fans at theirs, but I want to make sure I'm not about to burn my house down. (Wiring this thing was a trip) It's on full blast for what it's worth. Haven't adjusted dimming at all yet.

2. What did you do with the wires on the DC output side? The kit included some zip ties, but I can't figure out the best place to stash them. Leaving them laying on the heatsink or driver seems less than ideal given the heat, but I'm not sure what else to aim for.

Thanks for sharing your expertise!

Yes.
Driver heat that touches the border of comfort level, is pretty normal for 240s running at full nuts. I actually built a few "beds" out of unused heatsinks to keep them from touching anything other than a suitable surface.

As far as the wiring, I just do whatever I can to keep them from touching anything. The driver, nor the heatsink should be hot enough to actually melt anything, yet I keep all wires off of surfaces that could be questionable.

Awesome. Thanks for confirming on both!
