sup fella's just wanted to say hi an great job 2 all u homegrowners.i will be making my own grow box w/1hps 400watt 2 fans 1 exhaust 1 untake.i will be using soil.not shore what kind,also not shore about nutz food to feed them.if u old timers got some tips i would love them.i was thinking of using myler but i was told to paint the inside gloss white.that it would be fine.the size of the box is 3'by3' & 28"s deep.any ideas or thoughts would be great

YEs N51, painting the inside gloss or matt white is one of the best ways to go, just as good as using mylar. Use a soil that will contain potting mix, perlite, compost, and humus. Ferts for growing seedlings should be slightly higher in phosphorus, then switch to a high nitrogen fert once you get the second set of 3 bladed leaves. 400 Watt HPS is very good to use, yet if you can afford it, use MH for growing in the veg state. make sure your HPS always stays at least 1'-1 1/2' away from the plants to keep the leaves from burning. good lookin out 1st time for me so all the help really is nice.i was wanting to know about smell, is it a big fictor and if so would a carbon filter fix the problem piped to the crawl space...
