nft 424 no corner notches for cable/air line

Hi all, decided its time to go hydro, got everything i need i think, 1 problem is this nft424 doesnt have the notches in the corners for cables etc, should i make some? Will any light getting in matter? The plastic seems a bit rigid to hacksaw a v shape out.
