I heard green spectrum lights are ok to use near plants at night, but I have no experience with this. It's just something I've seen discussed on the forum.

yeah you just need a green colored bulb... home depot sells green CFLs now 
i have my room rigged to turn on 2 of the green "night lights" if all of the lights are off, and the door opens

what i mean is why bother disturbing them in the dark period? unless u work all day and there on 12hr dark wen u get home- i dont see why you would need to thats all i mean
