Daytime I'm running 79F
What's my ideal night temperature to hold at Lights off during flower? Last few nights I've been doing 73-74f.
Thanks!
Ok i guess i meant "Is there a temperature below which growth may slow down?"73.500°F
Around 68. The colder the slower. A 10 degree differential is good. I wouldn't worry unless it's really cold though. The cold temps can bring out more purples, but that's mostly from P deficiency.Ok i guess i meant "Is there a temperature below which growth may slow down?"![]()

Ok I'm confused, I want more stretching, so what's the opposite of negative temp differential?Around 68. The colder the slower. A 10 degree differential is good. I wouldn't worry unless it's really cold though. The cold temps can bring out more purples, but that's mostly from P deficiency.
If you want less stretch a negative temperature differential will help. But you don't want to keep it like that constantly beyond a couple weeks or it can piss them off. But as long as they have some days with a positive temperature differential if you go longer than 2 weeks they'll be fine.
Positive differential for increased stretch. Which is what you have now. Warmer day temps than night. Negative is colder day temps and warmer nights.Ok I'm confused, I want more stretching, so what's the opposite of negative temp differential?
OK that makes perfect sense, raise the temp during day to 82-83 & lower at night to 70, I can do that! ThanksPositive differential for increased stretch. Which is what you have now. Warmer day temps than night. Negative is colder day temps and warmer nights.
To increase the stretch make the difference between day and night temps more drastic. Right now you have a 5 degree difference. Increase that to 15 degree difference and it might help a bit. If that makes sense.
Interesting post, first I've seen someone wanting more stretching but after thinking about it, makes sense. maximise potential bud sights.Ok I'm confused, I want more stretching, so what's the opposite of negative temp differential?
Yea it was a small plant & I had plenty of room in the tent, so bigger the better. It ended up not stretching much anyway thoughInteresting post, first I've seen someone wanting more stretching but after thinking about it, makes sense. maximise potential bud sights.
What were you growing? Are you gonna run that strain again?Yea it was a small plant & I had plenty of room in the tent, so bigger the better. It ended up not stretching much anyway though
Oh nice. Autos? Who's the breeder? It's still going right now, NL1

NL#5 should grow taller than the #1. ( just know that NL1 is pretty much an Indica dominant strain, and #5 is crossed with a Sativa) You almost done, how much more do you think you got till harvest? Anxious to see how these turn out. I have a couple beans of NL i just popped, literally just popped them, from RoyalQueenSeeds. Grabbed a few more from two other breeders just to taste the difference between them. Stoked for ya man, following this grow, please keep us posted. .Reg photo & it's AKBB.
Any reason why u didn't veg longer to try to fill tent up?Yea it was a small plant & I had plenty of room in the tent, so bigger the better.
Great point, probably could've vegged it longer. what's the max veg time on these guys? 6 months to a year? Longer?Any reason why u didn't veg longer to try to fill tent up?
I got exact opposite situation as u. I let mine veg a couple extra weeks and now my tent is overfilled. I don't wanna get rid of any plants but I forsee potential problems.
I envy the fact that u have one plant in a tent which makes everything easier. The only trade off is not having multiple strains.
You set the time limit. Some have mothers vegging forever so they always have that strain around for clones.Great point, probably could've vegged it longer. what's the max veg time on these guys? 6 months to a year? Longer?
no shit ... interesting. You set the time limit. Some have mothers vegging forever so they always have that strain around for clones.
Yup, I grew 4 plants, flipped to 12/12, and 3 ended up being males. Universe decided the #Any reason why u didn't veg longer to try to fill tent up?
