Nirvana AK-48 Fem 2nd Grow All. CFL. Fox Farm This Time.

So I just ordered 10 AK-48 Fem seeds from nirvana. I Just bought 2 more 2x 48" T5 hoods that I will be mounting today. this will give me 2x 3000k T5 4x 6500k T5 50w per bulb for a total of 100w Per hood and 12,000 lumes per hood. Added to the dual Y x3 at another 128w and 10,000 lumes 2 6500k 1 2700k per Y and 3 Pure 100w 2700k 8,000 lumes per bulb. The room is lined with mylar and and running 1 8" fan. My temps top out at 91 degrees with a top of 38% hum after watering that drops down and stays stable at 20%.

I am Using Fox Farm Ocean Forest Potting soil with Fox Farms Grow Big and Big Bloom.


Once the seeds come I will be posting more pics of the whole set up. And then I will be posting updates every Tuesday threw harvest.

you sure you bought the feminized AK48??? Sounds like you bought the Reg. pack of seeds instead of the feminized. Reason I say that is because feminized seeds from Nirvana.. come in packs of 5 which I guess you could have ordered two packs of 5.. but usually people don't do that.

I would go and make 100% sure that your getting the feminized ones...

anyhow.. I've got my last AK48 going right now. My last harvest was AK48.. and let me tell ya.. being the first time I've tried the AK48 strain I was VERY VERY VERY impressed. The buds were fucking dense as a rock.. well.. close to it. The smell was just wonderful too.. but I think that had to do with the fact that I got lucky and ended up with one 'Cherry' pheno of the AK48 which are pretty rare to come across and I'm not a lucky person.. so I consider that my lucky accident for the year.. LMAO

Anyhow.. you'll be happy with the end result. I know I was..!

Yea man I just finished 2 white widow and 1 White castle from Nirvana. It was my first really grow. I used some crap soil MG nuts and I got some nice buds better then anything anyone is selling around me ATM I know for a fact 2 of the area's biggest slingers are my life time friends it after they smoked some OG Kush they grow outside they hit teh Widow and castle and got stright knock out. So I am a nirvana fan for life. Cant wait to see hwo this Ak comes out. The widow and caslte were abit airy but OMFG soooo good. I how the FF and a mollasass flush on the AK will yield the rock solid buds people around here seem to like.

Good luck Gamma, I am patiently awaiting my 5 pack of fem ak-48 and 5 pack of fem master kush right now. Went to the hydro store and got some ocean forest and light warrior, the guy said a mix of the two gives the best results. I also am growing under cfls 8-26 watt 6500k and 4-55 watt 2700k swapping some of the 6500's for 2700's during flower. this is my first grow so im very nervous as my grow box is small and in an area which climate will be difficult to control but im hoping fem seeds with good soil and nutes will give a BOMB yield. Anyway Ill be following this one wish I had the room for all those t-5's but cant wait to watch your ladies grow

I havent germed my AK 48s yet. I guess they got lost or whatever in shipping. I emailed nirvana and they reshipped them Thursday. So I expect to get them end of this week or start of the next week. In the mean time I started another White Widow seed. My light cycle comes back on in about an hour so I will take some picks.

One thing for sure using the fox farm products has made a huge difference. The OF soil took a bit to get used too. THE MG I used in the first grow only need to be watered every 4-5days the FFOF needs water every other day. I will post pics of the first grow with MG at the same stage as this plant with FFOF so you can see how much of a difference there is. I for one will never use anything but FF again.

Lookin good gamma. Ya the FF is the way to go. Got my ak-48 and master kush goin right now about four weeks from seed and they are looking nice. I was thinkin i would flower at week 4 to keep them small but they are only 6 inches and fairly small, very tight nodes though. This has me thinking of vegging for a couple more weeks, already bought tiger bloom and big bloom wasnt gonna go with grow big but now thinkin I may have to to get the yeild I want. Did the grow big seem to make a big difference I was hoping the soil would have enough N to get me to flower but they just seem small for four weeks, and they are getting tons of lights right on top of them temps 70-82 but humidity only 25-30% hope they'll be fine. Get yours goin so I got somethin to compare to LOL!

So just an update about this grow. I never got my AK-48. I did however end up with a Fem White widow pics below. She is at 4 weeks flowering. I got my order from Attitude of Super lemon haze and 2 free bees. I am happy to say all But 1 free bee and 1 SLH are doing great. I have them in a little veg box I made from a rubermade box. As soon as the WW is done they will go to flowing. enjoy. Go Go FF Stuff

Alrighty people I cut my WW lastnite. I ended up cutting 9 full thick colas and found 4 more under them. So I left the remaining branchs in the 12/12 and will cut them in like a week or 2. I am currently dring them and will post pics of the dried harvest.


I am also 3 weeks into flower on Super Lemon Haze I will be starting a thread on that grow as well.
