Nirvana Bubblelicious Auto Flower HID CocoCoir Closet Grow

First off, comments are appreciated. Especially if the comments are funny with good info! I'd like for this to be fun and involved for myself and anyone curious about my grow. Okay, then! Journal time!

I'm hopefully going to begin a grow. I've ordered 75% of my stuff which should all arrive next week. Stuff which I'll talk about. Unfortunately, I'm not so sure when my seeds will get here. I ordered bubblelicious auto feminized seeds from Nirvana. I'll also talk about stuff I haven't ordered.

My grow area:

I'm dealing with a 100 cubic foot closet here minus the space used up by a water heater. 5.4 x 2.8 x 7. I like it because there is already power in there (hopefully enough for what I'll run through) and also because it is in a private centralized location in my home. I'll post pictures eventually.

Equipment:
Lights: metal hallide during veg and hps during flowing. I was very close to using cfls but I decided I wanted something more for my plants. I want to give them the best of the best. I want them to feel like they are out in nature. Mainly so that I can chop them after they've made fat dense buds to smoke ....which I believe cfl grow wouldn't be able to match the size and density so I've read. I also wanted to avoid fucking with ugly wires and extension cords that I'd need with cfl. I've got my 400W apollo ballast on the way and the air cooled reflective thing coming too... I just need to get my bulbs.
Inline fan: haven't gotten this one yet
Scrubber: see above!
Soil: coco coir and perlite
Pots: 2 gallon and 5 gallon fabric pots.

My nutrients and cal+mag are on the way. I have my pH kit. I have a pH+moisture meter. I need a temp+hygrometer.

Really all that's left for me to get are bulbs, the scrubber, fan, duct work and random shit like chains and hooks. I even had to order a drill. I'm NOT handy but maybe that's where you guys come in!

That's all for now. All I can do is wait and prep my closet up. Step 1: Cut hole in ceiling without electrocution or dismemberment. Step 2: staple panda film on walls floor and ceiling and over the water heater.

Pretty good start?

I'm cheesin pretty hard today. Two packages came in the mail.
Here's my lot.

First is my calcium magnesium supplement. This has a bit of added iron. Very miniscule. Hopefully it will be okay. I couldn't really find any info of iron in plants. Actually, I think I did but I was high at the time. It must have been a good idea at the time.

Next is my coco coir, the 5 gallon fabric pots that aren't pictured... and then the gold
So the most important thing is here. Now I gotta go to work. I don't see myself being able to focus very well.
I need to think about when to start germing.

I can't decide if I want to begin now in a glass of water, or wait till I have my coco mix ready, and a spot ready for my sprouts. The answer is pretty obvious though. I must start exercising patience!

Oh yeah get everything set up and test it first so you know you are prepared and ready.

I am sure it's easy to get ahead of oneself. I'm already acting like I'm into the curing stages! Thanks for reading!

Honestly, I don't know what to expect! I've only smoked medical grade marijuana once! My expectations I hope are gonna be exceeded. I'm pretty sure it will probably change my life lol

Today I woke up and ran to check my jiffy pellets... Two little perky cotyledons greeted me. I'm pretty happy. So here's what I did: I dropped two seeds in a glass of water, 12 hours later the tap root peeks out of one. 24 hours later both roots are peeking. Next day they are both sticking out. I soaked two jiffy pellets, squeezed excess water out and buried them just under the surface. Next day, put some drops of water on them. Next day I'm worried. I dig a little to find the taproot pushed itself to the side. Hmm oh well. The pellets are still moist with little watering. I go to bed. Today I woke up and saw the cotyledons butn one hasn't opened. I put some water drops on them. Can't wait to put them in their coco coir mix!

Gonna throw some cfls over them and finish up my room. I've been lazy.

I've read some people have gotten bad batches, so I was concerned. I've also read Nirvana has bad customer service. They are /so/ proud of their genetics, they just assume people mess up their germ process when they don't sprout so they don't replace seeds. That's pretty legit seed business right there. Haha
I'll keep ordering from them. The packaging was creatively discrete, just have to be patient. They took two weeks to arrive.

Here are my two babies as of now - day 8.
First image is of the smaller one the size of a quarter, the following pic it's close to the size of a half dollar to get an idea of the size. I'm amazed at how well they've taken.
