Nitrogen

I see and read a lot about nitrogen deficiency. I also see where people say "add a little nitrogen."

In the event of a nitrogen deficiency, what's the best thing to use and at what ratio?

I'm using the Fox Farms Grow Big/Big Bloom/Tiger Bloom nutes. I'm just trying to find out if I need it, what would I add?

I started at 1/4, then moved up to half the strength. Not quite sure why, but everywhere I read says to go half strength.

Part A of many 2 part base ferts give you all the N you need such as AN Sensi A. or micro mixes of grow-micro-bloom 3 part ferts. The micro will give you a big dose of N and micro's. This is if you are OK with mineral nutes though
