Nizza's 20" x 20" vipar XS1000 grow journal

So viparspectra has reached out and sent me a XS1000 unit to test out. I usually run plants in my 2x4 or 5x5 , but this light won't cover my 2x4 so I am going to use it for my first run in my little 20"x20" chamber, it should be fun!
The light came in, it has a nice dimmer build onto the side of it, and is nicely made. The packaging was well done and nothing was broken, and I could easily see this being compared to any other high end light out there.

To start, I need to choose a strain and grow method. I was thinking of DTW coco, and putting one of the strains I'm already growing in there to kick this journal off. I am just not sure what is male or female yet.

Today I am cleaning the chamber out and figuring out how I'm going to set this up for auto-watering so during the work week I don't have to worry about anything

A pic of the goods-- I think Citrus milf Is going in there. This plant is growing faster than all the rest and is feminized so this should kick off the journal

Gotta give a shout out to @HydroRed , 3thirteen seeds for this cross. It is out performing everything else so far. The CM is the plant in the front left

Here's an update, the lvtk cross made it as the best plant to fit in the 20x20 with the xs1000

Update
Humidity is sitting above 70% in the tent. I am going to get a dehumidifier and hopefully drop it down to a constant 50%or60%. I am using an inkbird sensor now to log my temp and humidity, I like this little sensor and it was cheap. Glad I realized now how high it was , before this plant Buds up too densely.
Also I need to remove some foliage and make sure nothing it touching the walls of the tent. This plant is pretty crammed in there

Thinking I'm overfeeding a bit so I will back off. Did some defoliation today and tried to pin the light a little higher. Pics with and without flash. Humidity is fixed now that I got a dehu

Things are bulking up a little bit!
This strain smells like a kush with a little bit of skittles or something, loving the gas on her. Wish I let her get a little bigger though but it's better than worrying about mold in this tiny tent

Finally chopped her down
She's got an oily rubbery smell and I cannot wait to try her, kush is one of my favorites!


A Big shout out to @Bad Dawg for creating such nice freebies that come in with anything ordered from great lakes genetics, I'm looking forward to trying more!

This light is well made and did great job. I'm going to be using this again next run for my little 20" x 20" tent.

Pics of the dried bud with and without flash. This lvtk x lbf is a great smoke- nice gassy rubbery Og goodness! These seeds were freebies from bad dawg when I ordered off great lake genetics
