So with the lack of snow yet still cold weather I have a good bit of time on my hands. I was thinking about trying some glass blowing. Where should I start, I'm not looking to drop a grand or anything close to that much, does anyone hav some recommendations on what to get so I can have a good basic start? Any instructional videos? Realistically how difficult do you consider starting out is, I know some people have a nack for these things. Any advice and help is much appreciated!

If you have under $1,000 to spend, glass blowing is not a hobby for you. Triple your budget, then you can start. If you dont even want to spend close to $1000, well, a good Kiln is $800-$1500, a good torch is $500-$1800, let alone $20-$50 per tool, the oxygen tanks, propane tanks, regulators, flashback arrestors, proper ventilation so you dont inhale toxic fumes while you work, all the clear, all the color, etc.......

Under $3000 to spend? Pick a different hobby. Sorry man.
