Quick stats

1st grow w/ mystery seed.
HydroHeart DWC
2- 90x1 watt R/B/O 7.1.1 UFO's (Only have 1 plant with this exp., so only using 1 light)
Cab Temp 78-81F
Humidity 45-49%
Water Temp 77F... I know..warm
Nutes-None. I assumed some nutes hitched a ride from the soil start so I'm running clean water in the DWC. The should flush out soon enough.
Current Ph a sweet 5.75. Out of the spigot it was 6.0 from our well, but spiked to 7.25 after the 1st day. Plenty of fan action to keep thing circulating

The transplant was started from a germed seed started in MG potting soil untill we set the cab up, It was a 3 shoot beauty that stood 3.5" tall. I transplanted in the net cup with about 2" over the top of the hydroton. The water in the DWC just touches the bottom of the netpots with each chamber housing it own air tube for bubbles and oxygenation. Day 2. Leaves are still healthy green, the center of the new shoot protruding is a very noticeble red, not sure if this is distress or I lucked out with a premo bean. The leaves are defiantely curling under, still running pure H2O. I want to work out the kinks before I drop $15 beans in the chambers...Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Please don't waste my or your time if your trying to sell something other than advice, cause I'm not buying. Just looking to learn and start producing potent and chunky yields. Again, Thanks for the help up front. :leaf:

she needs to be fed. start out with a 1/4 strength nutes. start with something simple until you get DWC down... water is at a good level for seedling dwc. as for your temps you either NEED to add frozen water bottles if money is a problem, a chiller if it isnt. or honestly go with some dutch master zone. <-- This is sound advice... 77 degrees in your dwc setup will absolutely cause nothing but problems. This zone stuff conditions the water which helps with nutrient uptake and helps prevent root rot at the higher temps... your call though... btw did you give your hydrotron a good rinse before you started using it? the extra dirt and dust can cause different ph swings. also since your on well water make sure the nutrients you buy are designed for HARD water if you dont have a water softener on it. ( There is a difference). GL!
