Noob question on water with sprouting

This is my first grow and I'm honestly just worried about over feeding and anything else I might be doing wrong. I had 2 goo seeds germinate a couple days ago. I'm worried about giving the plant too much love like I see you guys comment far too often.

Here's a picture of the soil the germd seeds are in.. Just curious to see if the soil needs water.

Can't tell from pic. Looks dry but as I said... You want it damp, not wet. Can't tell by the surface area.

Next time, go with solo cups and add in extra perlite. The smaller the better for watering when young

...there's one way that works the best...check the weight of ur buckets with and without water...worked for me in the past when was working with soil.

Rammstien is correct or you can insert your finger to 2 inches see if damp is still wet

Sorry dude, I can't tell from the picture. Stick your finger in there and see how the soil feels about an inch or two down.

If it's flaky and dry water them. If it's wet or moist, don't. Make sure those tiles they're sitting on are around 80 degrees, warmth helps too.

I have a hum/temp monitor that reads a high/low of each every 24 hours. When I checked I had a humidity level at 42% and temp at 73°. About a 6-8 variation for both on the high/low numbers.

The weather this morning was -32 with windchill so my environment isn't as controlled as I would prefer. When I get my box built I should have more stabilization.

i use a spray bottle daily about 10 -20 squirts where planted the seed
shallow waterings is the key to not drowning them
