North Korea would be nuts to disarm. The biggest threat to peace in the world is the United States hands down. A lot of countries have nukes. Only the US has actually used them.

We used two nukes to end World War 2 thus saving millions of lives. It would have been more costly to invade Japan. Besides conventional bombing of Japan was far more costly for Japan if you consider the human toll and property.

We knew Russia was eyeing more territory towards the end of the war. The bomb drops were to stop them in their tracks.

North Korea has been a trouble making pawn of China and Russia since the end of WW2.

North Korea has publicly disputed Trump's claim that they insisted on total removal of sanctions. They claim they asked for partial lifting. Bet money that Michael Cohen was the cause. Trump has dementia and even a nursing school student could determine that. He has to be guided and herded much like Reagan who also had dementia (Alzheimer's disease).
