northern lights and stretch

hello im new here . i have grown many plants before , skunk , white widow , blueberry from dutch passion and bubblegum. th e problem i have is my new 8 northen lights seedlings are really stretchy like sativa but the leaves are the fattest ive seen , they overlap each other. they r kept outside in the sun all day and r on their 5 set off leaves.is it worth keeping plants with long stems , they r quite tall ,would they produce good buds>? i thought northern lights was squat and short? thanx any help would be good

stretching because of the lack of light are you growing outdoors? I think its way past the time to grow outside unless you live somewhere going into summer. Any plant outdoors will be larger than one grown inside.
