The names of these two strains are derived from the Aurora Borealis. The "Lights" were out last night (Fairbanks, Ak) more than I've seen in the last few years.

I saw them once of the back of a cruise ship..coolest thing i have witnessed.

I left my tripod 400 miles away. They are supposed to be kicking tonight. I'll take pics if I can and post here or in my grow log.

The World Ice Art Festival is going on. It's definately bake-worthy.

man oh man do I miss the Ice sculptors in Fairbanks, and I really miss looking out my window and watching the Nothern Lights. Those guys are incredible what they can do with a block of ice and a chain saw. Take some pics for me Girdweed and enjoy yourself.

The lights are kicking tonight. Back at the hotel to put the kiddos to bed. For all my northern brethren, take a peak outside!
