NORTHERN LIGHTS GROW SETUP;advice (English grower)

hello to all,I'm shortly starting a northern lights grow and wondering if my setup is "correct" need asmuch help/research as possible before spending money(£500 budgit first grow)

Hey

Tent looks fine, dead standard.. Wilma system - never used them (just soil/coco grows personally) but they seem widely used, no doubt they are fine, but i am guessing you will need some ph/EC testing stuff to help it all go smoothly.

The T5 link actually goes to some weird 2.99 offer for tent, lights, fan etc? i'm guessing it's a mistake? The t5's (if that is what you intended to link) are typically used for veg only due to their colour spectrum. Did you have a second light i mind for flowering?

You linked auto flower seeds - never used them, some love 'em, some don't so you'll no doubt get to form your own opinion shortly. Was it intentional to pick auto's? This might help you refine your choice.

500 squid is way plenty to set up a first grow too, most do a percy set up for way less, just make your dosh work for you :up:

If u intend to do a full grow with just t5's, place some low down under the canopy to light up the lower branches, don't worry too much about them touching the leavs but keep an eye on them just in case they are too hot.
You will need to have a nute that has equal amounts of N & K, thats what i found worked best for growth with fluros, but ive never grown northen lights yet, just baught 5 auto NL's from sensiseeds, so we can compare notes on growth and help each other out

should be quite interesting. im going for DWC and compleat change of nute solution each week to 10 days. ill see if i can get some t5's also so were on the same lighting system. I was going with LED chip lights, but the T5's could be interesting. Rudi

On the t5 link when clicked on it goes to ebay and its in the selection bar under T5 8lamp 600w.my mistake to add that in.

yes I did over look the colour of the lights,local fish store sell red and blue t5 bulbs so I've beared that in mind.

The auto flowers yes as I've found them to be much more quicker from seedling to harvest ,my intention down the line is to have 4/6 autos always on the go then 1/2 main 500gram plants in a separate room next to them.

Hello rudi thankyou,yes it'll be very interesting to see the differences throughout the stages, have you used the Wilma system before ?and do you know what size I should get as I know that you can't repot autos
