Northern lights in a shed.

I am going to grow some northern lights plants in a 8' wide by 6' long by 6' tall metal shed. I posted this thread because I was wondering how many plants i could grow nicely in an 8x6 space. And what kind of light to use. I am growing my feminized autoflowering northern lights seeds in coconut coir, fed hydroponically with a nutrient mix. So bascially how many plants can grow in the shed comfortably and what ONE light should I use to get these plants growing well?

your Air Conditioning bill will be HUGE. 1K w HID MH/HPS x 2 or 3 to cover the floor space.

three 1000w bulbs for that one shed? soz my mind is blown. & im doing this in a shed so maybe i can just leave the door open or cut a hole in the wall and throw up a cheap fan? (this is in the woods btw) and im powering this outfit on one of those tiny silent honda generators

I think you have alot of research to do as to how much of a generator you need. You will need to insulate the shed pretty good as well. Not sure what area you are in but if its hot 70 and up it will be a pita to keep cool. Sounds like a very expensive grow. I might suggest just 2 1000's or 3 600's. Ive never done an autoflower so i cant say how many you could fit.

i feel a forest fire coming...but yes 3x1000 would be ideal for a shed that size. your ceiling is a little low and it is going to trap massive heat. if you live in a cold environment then i think just a nice fan something like 600cfm should be able to pull most of the heat and use ambient air to cool the shed. but if you really only want one light, i'm partial to the 1000 hortilux it vegges and flowers and well. get a huge hood something like the raptor xxxl you should be able to push 5x5 but you're still going to have space that you can't really utilize that well.

buy a tent :hump: it would save you so much trouble, for example I have a dr90 secret jardin. Cost me 220$ and its super easy to use, plus it goes with me where ever I go.
