Northern Lights outdoors?

I wasn't sure if I should post this in newbie central or what, but here's my question. I have auto-fem seeds and regular non-fem/non-auto Northern Lights. I want to save some seeds, so I guess I'll need at least one male to keep up the line. I cannot grow indoors at the moment, so do you think I should save the auto-fem seeds or wait till it warms up a bit to plant those outside? I'm in alabama. If my male gets with my female will the bud be as good?

I have no idea how to deal with auto seeds. How many NL seeds do you have? Why not save two or three of those, grow out the rest, and if you have a male and female let them breed.

i've grown a lot of NL autos outdoors in florida. they love the heat, humidity, rain, sun etc. i always get excellent results. i don't grow during the cooler months as i find it's not worth the trouble for the yield. GL

Forgive the newbie questions. I appreciate your responses. With reg seeds do you recommend till maybe May for the necessary amount of light?

yes, by first of May the sun should be pretty far along on it's travel north for the summer solstice. GL
