Hi Guys,
My name is CanniCastro420. I thought I'd formally introduce myself to the community, as I plan on getting as much info on this art as I can. I've been doing this grow thing for more than a few yrs now. I started out with 2 AK-47 seeds and a dream. My first lights were 2 twin 40w T12's, but I would quickly upgrade to 400w MH. HID's were my growing awakening! At the time I was growing in a closet 3' x 5' x 12'. the walls were already flat white, so it was perfect. That was when I first got to enjoy that look on my friends face when they first smoked my finished product! To me, that sense of pride takes backseat only to a father's pride for his child.
It was around this time that my girlfriend's dad's health began fading. Diabetes, kidney failure, several mini-strokes, and dementia began taking its tole. sometimes between the meds, dialysis etc. he would get sick for days. one time after his latest 3 day vomiting bender, we got him to reluctantly smoke. despite him not liking the "harshness" he ate like a pig! I would eventually help him by making cannibutter choco chip cookies, which he loved. It really made his last year as comfortable as he could be, considering his kidneys were @ 1% filtering capacity. His own Dr. told him outright of he could prescribe, he would (MMJ is not available where I live). This is what galvanized me into wanting to help people. Although my girlfriend's dad is no longer with us, I still try to help people, when I have the opportunity to grow. I currently help a older friend who has rheumatoid arthritis. He uses smoking to help manage the associated joint pain. The steroids they give him really make him feel like crap.
Currently in the middle of planning another room, from the ground up. Getting alot of good info. I am also hoping to move to Michigan within the next 2yrs or so. That way I can be legit. I would really appreciate any info I can get from Michigan caregivers on how the MMJ community is out there. I currently do not know a soul that lives there that can help me.
