Not all plants growing in NFT trays

Hi,

I am running two 604 NFT trays with 4 plants in each. Plants are 4 week old and they were all growing evenly and looking really good but now the plant at the furthest end away to the pump of each of the trays appears to have stopped growing or are certainly not growing at the same rate as the rest. Any ideas what this could be? Can't seem to find anything on the net. Thanks

I don't run NFT but I heard this is a problem with NFT. Your nutrient solution towards the ends of runs will be weaker since the plants in the beginning of the run are absorbing nutes out and leaving a higher water ratio to the end plants.

Your solution is to have shorter runs or up the feed level. Maybe someone who does NFT can chime in. But thats what makes sense to me.

Perhaps...perhaps not. Once you find a feed they like they will take in equal nutes to water and the remaining nute water flowing downstream will be the same feed level.

This is the case with other forms of hydro as well. My dwc bucketsdrop in water level but the feed stays the same unless its too much or too little in which case the feed would rise and drop respectively.

It's strange off the other plants seem to be doing fab. Suppose I'll just have to see what happens during flowering and hope it catches up.

Are all the plants the same strain? If not it could be genetics. I run a different strain in every hole of my Aero/NFT system and guess what, every plant is a different size. If your plants are all different strains, smoke a bowl and mellow out. You know what? Fuck it, go ahead and smoke a bowl anyway...

If they are all the same strain then it's probably the first stages of root rot or some other sort of pathogen. People will give you all kinds of advice on how to get rid of it but none of it will work. You really have to start over and bleach the fuck out of everything, especially your pump! Keep watching your plants and if it seems to be spreading to the others then you're fucked.

Just like I hear all kinds of advice on how to get rid of spider mites and powdery mildew. Whatever... Here's my advice, don't get it to begin with!

The key to NFT is to keep your water cold and room cool. Warm water = failure! Good luck bro!

Want a tip? How clean is my grow tent? You could fry up a couple of eggs and throw them anywhere in my grow space and I'd eat them. Of course you also have to spray on a little Sriracha sauce too but you get the point.

Well just a quick update 3 week into flowering and they've shot up
