Not flowering in KY

Just a quick question to the folks who have been so helpful already...

It is mid-Aug in KY, with temps in the high 80s...have two beautiful ladies in large black pots growing in well lit parts of my backyard garden. Growing well, with minor bug activity, the Sativa is approximately 5 ft while the Indica is around 4 ft...enough bragging, the question is, STILL NO BUD FORMATION??? Is it still too early? Anyone else in this part of the world still waiting to see flowering, bud formation?

it's not too early, just be patient.

i'm south of you, mine seem to just be starting to stretch. i generally have a start by the end of the first week of september and harvest late october to mid november.
