Not flowering yet

What is going on? The plants are 4-6wks old, which are in a closet w/ mylar on walls and hps/400wt lamp about 12-15"away, with a 12/12 light cycle now. Began w/ florescent for 24hrs x 2 wks. then hps. The ph was low lime was added to correct. The plants are not showing signs of flowering yet. The temp in closet is 80 degrees w/ lamp on and close to 50 @ night.(no heat on in house yet). Any suggestions to promote flowering.

4-6 weeks and no flowering ???? Did you start from seed ???? If so and you only vegged for 2 weeks that could be the problem. I know plants from seed have to be grown at least 4-6 weeks before they're ready to flower, ideally 8 weeks from seed.Or.....its a male.

bleh, i'm having the same problem, except i've only had them on 12/12 for 3 weeks, vegged for about 3-4 weeks prior, so maybe i initiated flowering a bit early?

I germed for 2 weeks and vegged for 4 weeks my baby got pretty big when i gave it nitrogen.. but any ways its been on 12/12 since tuesday and its sunday now,... lets see progress in when its full 7 days...

Make sure you have no light leaking into the room , it confuses plants and they think its summer still. LED's on fans/heaters/extension leads will be bad, so tape em up. Mine are 16 days into 12/12 and only just starting to show preflowers, vegged em for 4 weeks from seed......I have to be patient, but it worries me too when i see other peoples pics of plants at 3 weeks with LOADS of hairs.
