Not sure if I should harvest..

So I'm on day 65 of bloom. I have two blue mystics that absolutely gorgeous and are just coming up ready to harvest. I can see quite a bit of the trichomes are more milky now. I also have my one main plant which looks to be ready but I am not sure as I continue to see spurts of huge calyx formations. The fan leaves have almost all began to yellow and the big leaves on the colas are starting to yellow now which I was told is a definite sign that you should harvest soon. I want to harvest all the plants at once just due to my circumstances. I attached a pic of one of the top colas on the main plant that I am concerned I might be harvesting too soon. I apologize for the redness in the picture, its just the light spectrum my lights use and dont want to move her as shes in the perfect spot which is a pain for me to pull her out of.

I was thinking of starting to flush in a day or two and harvest on like the 1st of August. Has anyone harvested with colas that are still having growth spurts such as this? Is there anything besides trying to look at the color of the trichomes that I can look at to help figure out the perfect time to harvest?

If you want more bud then leave it if it's still growing new calyxes! Having said that, I once had to chop a plant that was still popping out the odd foxtail...I left it as long as i could, but it was way overdue. It smoked great.

Natural light would help. If you harvest too early it will taste like hay and smell like grass clippings. Ya might want to take a tester off of it first and dry it for a couple days real fast and then check. If its hay wait longer.

If your trichs are cloudy and you've been flowering for 9 weeks I'd say harvest now.

I say post a diff pic without all the fancy light so we can see what she naturally looks like. I mean she's a beaut but let's see what she looks like without the makeup beside you'll never get an accurate answer on when to harvest without a decent microscope or loupe etc.

I tried to take a few more pics here with some natural lighting. I am going to clip a smaller cola off and see if I can cure it for a few days and see how it is. The last two are the blue mystic plants and the rest are the main plant.

trichs are the key, amber is starting the degredation process.. more amber means more body buzz. radio shack has a 100x30 mic for 20 bucks. also if u have a sativa dominate girl they can go much longer till ripe

Looks like she needs a couple more weeks. End of July @ IMO.

I agree. Test buds are good to take close to the end.

1st 3 need a few more weeks, others look very close
