Hi everyone.

Just wondering what I should do regarding this :leaf: of mine. I nute burned her :wall: during the flowering stage, but :leaf: has been good to recover.

:leaf: is currently under a 400w HPS. Im just wondering where to go from here ?

Do you think it has time left to continue growing? It is hard to tell bc I see :leaf: everyday.

Thanks

:bigjoint:

WAY too much Nitrogen used in flowering............that's why it's so leafy. I would go in and pinch off about 10-15% of the leaves blocking the bud. How long have you been flowering for and what's the strain? I guess my next step would be to check the coloring of the trichomes- clear, cloudy or amber- this will tell you what stage of finishing your at.

It is a bag seed plant.

I think you are right about the nitrogen, I originally thought the burns, were a lack of nitrogen, so I ended up using extra N :dunce:. When the burning continued, I dumped the res and gave it less nutes over all. was giving it close to 1800 ppms at one point (ouch :wall:)

I will check the trichs and try to get some pics up of those. I have a 100x magnifying glass, and will try and align it with the cam. I will report back very soon.

The pictures are not the greatest quality.

Most trichs were a milky white color. Few were clearish. None were Amber. Though some of the hairs are getting amber.DSCI0181.jpgDSCI0180.jpgDSCI0179.jpgDSCI0178.jpg

Yes, I agree........you got a ways to go. Again, I'd remove a bunch of leaves and let some light reach the buds.

Going to trim the plants up in the morning (night cycle atm). Thanks guys for the advice.

Was also wondering if dropping the temp would help them out also? The bulb running 12 hrs a day gets the room up to 80 (+3/-3) sometimes (usually starts the day around 75). I have an inline fan sucking air through the bulb, and 3 other fans getting fresh air back in, but the fans just push around the hot air. Was thinking about kicking on the AC.

your room temps are fine maybe a little high for some people but what the temp at the plant. also when you take picture of the trikes next time try to get it from a side angle so you can see the light shine through so you can see the full colors

I think the cooling of temps is more effective with sativas than indicas. Generally around 10 degrees cooler in the dark session is ideal. Just be patient and let it go a bit- harvest when there are no more clear trichomes and about 10-30% amber. The rest are cloudy.
