Novel Foods, possibly the next trick.

Next March Canada will get to chose between multiple simultaneous scenarios at UN's 62nd Comission on Narcotic Drugs, most likely to please those citizens who voted for the Liberal's political main opponent before, since Harper's H.-C. guru Hilary Geller happened to be the one Justin sent as our emissary in preparation of UNGASS 2016 (see next day critics by Louise Arbour and other high-profile UN peers!), euh... So, considering the apparent late advancements related to CBD cannabis it could have felt reasonable and even rational to expect it to be made as legal as tomatoes, contrary to Justin's belief that it's no food supplement supposed to be managed by a province's minister of agriculture, etc.



M'well, it turns our UN's home city decided to BAN CBD arguing it's now a Novel Food (!):

A quick search revealed it's no fresh concept as it started on may 15, 1997 (...), then gave rise to the "European Novel Food Regulation" (2015-Dec-31) which became "legally binding" on January 1st, 2018 - E. G. when nobody cared to pay sufficient attention to eventual possible consequences.

As a result i came to conclude my province's violation of the letter & spirit of Canada's 1867 Confederation founding act shall prove unconstitutional when it comes to self-cultivation combined to CBD Cannabis.


"Légaleezation" indeed...
