now my plants have stretched

Hi, ive got six northern lights growing at the moment on my windowsil. They are all over a foot tall and look a little stretched, the reason for this is that i have a grow space set up for them in my loft but im still waiting for the CFL bulbs to arrive, i waited for over a week and when they turned up they were smashed! hopefully two more should arrive in the post tomorrow. im not sure how much light i should give to the plants, maybe just go into flowering mode? The plants give off a very skunky smell and are nearly ready to show signs of sex. i think ill just be glad to get them in their new home!

You said CFL bulbS, right? How many? If you want to stop stretching you need a lot of light and a fan blowing on them all the time.

two 125w blue cfls, there is a link above to the ones i bought. like i said they havnt arrived yet but i cant wait!

Wow I had one like that and where the glass meets plastic blew out,made a helluva noise and I had a thin piece of tubing glass impaled about half an inch in my room wall....now I just use the curly bulbs those straight tubes freak me out.

that doesnt sound great, has anyone else experienced exploding cfl tubes??
