Nute deficiency? Fungal issues? White Papaya

the plants went into flower a couple of weeks ago. we were out of town the first week of august, and i had a friend water them every other day. when i returned i spaced it on a feed, so i'm wondering how much of them is nute deficiency and how much is fungal from improper watering? it's mostly the fan leaves, but there are a lot of sugar leaves that are curling up, brown and dead. i'm picking off dozens of leaves everyday.

here is an example of the sugar leaves dying off. this is at the top of the plant.

she sure is pretty! i'm hoping to still push her to harvest, but that is likely 6+ wks away...

here she is next to my other plant, Purple Queen. annnnnd she is also showing signs of yellowing at the top.

open to feedback and opinions. i obviously want to take these to harvest, but if this is a losing fungal battle that will turn into a mold problem, i'll lower my expectations and just them ride it out before i chuck them into the burn pile in november.

Could it be overwatering, because of the shade that she is in? At first I was thinking cal-mag def, but the one next to it is doing well. How about bugs? It is close to other plants. Maybe they just like that one, more than any other plants. My other thought is that she might just need more water than your other plant.1756826900437.png
