Nute lock out

I had a problem with my ph and it ended up almost killing one of my plants they are three weeks old and two of them are alright now i was wondering if the fact that i cut off the worst leaves is gonna be a bad thing. I have the ph corrected now it is at 5.5 and i still have leaves that look to have an iron deficiency but are starting to get better since correcting the ph, all of the new growth is coming in very green and with no signs of any problems. oh yeah i am growing hydroponicly from bagseeds with hydroton, schultz acid loving plants; at 1/4 streangth, and superthrive. with 8 150w equiv lights 4 warm and 4 daylight. any thoughts are welcome

PH problems... did you had a phosphorus deficiency? Or was it due to too much PH variation? Also dude, 5.5 is low, you should aim for 6.5-7.2. No it's not bad to cut off leaves that are like 70-80% gone.

I think it was a phosphorus def and an iron def the older leaves started to die and the new growth had yellowing leaves with deep green veins but now the newest growth looks bright green and the iron def growth is getting some of it's color back
