Nutrients

I have 13 OG Kush plants that I just sprouted indoor after 4-20 and I was wondering when I need to give them their first nutrients?

How old should they be and what nutes would be best for me to give them? I've also heard from a friend that any kind of nutrients or fertilizers given to them when they are too young will kill them. Anyone know if this is true?

Any help is greatly appreciated

You know, I don't have a whole lot of expereince with this growing stuff but I started a second set of plants and decided to follow the fox farms chat to the letter and it seems to be working out great. They say to start big bloom like right away, and then start adding grow big in the second week. Starting everything at 1/4 strength and working your way up.

Now of the two grows I have experience with the one that I followed the fox farm chat with is working out way better, but that could be the result of other mistakes that I didn't make again.

you can start with nutes from the beginning but you should start very slow if you do, and there is not really much reason to do so. If you are unexperienced I would suggest against it so as not to kill or harm them. If you are going to start early organic is probably better because it is harder to over do it. You should start around 3 weeks with 1/4-1/2 dose and work your way up to full strength or more depending on how your plants are taking it. Some strains love nutes and can take 2 or three times recommended doses very well while others prefer very low nutes having trouble with even full strength doses. I'm not sure about the strain you have but the best method is to start slow and take cues from your ladies, they'll let you know if your overdoing it. Good luck with the rest of your grow.

I've got a question about the nutes, what do you use to measure it out as I'm struggling to find something I can measure millelitres out with because I need to add about 4millelitres to 1 litre water & I can find anything with a small enough measurement to do it with??
