I am broke and have no way to get any nutes. I have never added any nutes to my plants. And the soil is very low in nutes. What can i use for nutes when I cant afford to get any for a few weeks. Its winter here......

I think i have over watered and possible starved my plants of nutes... any suggestions?

I do have some soil that im attempting to make some tea out of 50/50 ratio water/soil mix.

I prefer to keep it organic

I would invest in some Fox Farm type organic soil instead of that "time release" fertilizer you have in your pic...
 
Woah man, i dont know if nutes should be your first concern here, I mean those plants are waaayyyyyy stretched, need to invest in some better lighting first then soil, then nutes they are in veg state man soil usualy can last quite a while just the way it comes, how old are these babies?
 
The short one is 7 days and the taller is 2 weeks or so

EDIT: The tall one is tall because i had the lights 3 feet away because i was burning it up with a regular household light bulb. So i switched it out with these 2 cfls which Ive grown it on ever since. So Ive moved the lights around some and right now they are 1 inch away from the top of the plant.
 
piss in a cup and dilute it 1 part urin and 10 parts water. free nitrogen! houshold amonia is cheap and also a good source of nitrogen, as are epsom salts for mag..
 
Dude, this thread WAS NOT what I thought it would be. If you want natural, blood or bone meal is about 3 dollars a box.Or get a big bag of compost from the garden store.I got a 40 pound bag for $1.27.Two of them did my outdoor vegetable garden this year.I mixed it in with the soil.
 
I have heard of using urine as a nitrogen source, but come on man you need lots of nitro at that stage but more than likely he is using Miracle Grow, are you? And if he is that soil last quite a while i personaly don't but it already looks like those leaves are a little crispy so i really dont think that nutes are the problem here......lights and ventiliation man i did not use nutes until flowering stage, but thats cuz i did not know wtf i was doing, lol.
 
I got a huge bag of soil... and a dozen cfls bulbs.. but there isnt any more room to throw in more dirt and i dont have any more lamps...

I might try the piss in the plant idea

Should my light be closer then 1 inch... was it overwatered.. needs nutes?
 
Don't use urine, it's got ammonia in it.It can kill your plants.And it's nasty.Do you want to smell old evaporated piss until flower is over?

I have not added any nutes or tea.... its straight tap water (left out for a few days+) and straight cfls
 
DONT PISS IN UR PLANT BRO YOU WILL PROLLY KILL IT AT THAT STAGE! And besides, do you really want to someday smoke your PISS?!! Get some bloodmeal like Stoney McFried said, or another one for nitrogen is Worm Castings, but i am telling you its not lack of nutes, its lack of TLC! get some 5000k Clfs bro and if your going to stick with cfls for flowering get some 2700k, but i recommend HPS if your going cheap i have seen some awesome grows done on a 150 watt hps, much more dense nugz than you will ever get with cfls.:leaf:
 
amonia converts to pure nitrogen in plants. straight piss will probably kill them so dilute it with water like i said before 10 to 1. (plant bio 101 basics)
