Yeah, I'd like to have seen it myself. Handed down from his grandfather even. Shitty situation all round, dude killed himself. For what? For pot? It will be legal in next ten years! Hard for those old timers to see that coming. They've been hiding too long, take it hard. Could have been a cool legal debate from a case like this, NY wants it legalized as much as anyone.

What pisses me off is the frankly condescending way they muse about WHY he built it. "His business was doing so well, and nothing traumatic had happened to him, so what would POSSIBLY drive him to grow the Devil's Lettuce?"

I find the implication that only a desperate, downtrodden, shell of a man would consider growing marijuana (especially in a State that's already on the road to medical whole plant legalization!) incredibly insulting and ignorant. It's not a meth lab, dammit!

I am wondering what strains they had. I am guessing Sour d tho, unless he was exporting.
